This privacy notice describes how Granular Investment Review Co., Ltd. (統一編號 22856182, representative Huang Ming-Hsuan) handles personal data on this website. It is written to be consistent with Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA, 個人資料保護法).

What we collect and why

This site collects personal data only through the inquiry form on the contact page. The form sends the following fields to a same-domain handler at /api/inquiry:

Name — to address you in our reply.
Email — to send you a reply.
Phone (optional) — only if you choose to provide it, to reply by voice if email is not enough.
Your message — the substance of your inquiry.

The legal basis under the PDPA is your consent, given when you submit the form, and the legitimate purpose of responding to an inquiry you directed to us. The data is used only to reply to your inquiry. We do not add you to a marketing list, we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing, and we do not profile you.

Where the data goes

The form posts JSON to /api/inquiry on this same domain. The data is received by a server operated by the controller on the same domain as this site. It is not sent to any third-party analytics or marketing service, because no analytics or third-party tracking runs on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tag on any page.

Consent preference stored in your browser

When you see the cookie banner and choose Accept or Reject, that choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key gir-consent-v1. This is a functional storage item that records your consent choice; it is not a tracking cookie and it does not identify you across sites. See the cookie notice for the full storage inventory.

Retention

Inquiry submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to keep a reasonable record of that response. As a baseline we keep inquiry correspondence for up to 12 months after our last reply, then delete it. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time (see Your rights below).

Your rights under the PDPA

Under the PDPA you may, with reasonable justification, request to:

view or obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request deletion of your data, or that we stop using it.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@granular-kernel.digital from the address you used in your inquiry, or write to the address in the footer. We will reply within a reasonable time and will not require you to use a specific form.

Children

This site does not address children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The subject matter — transaction cost estimation and trade execution — is aimed at professional and informed adult readers.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date in the page metadata. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.

Proposed baseline retention period (12 months) is a market-consistent default and is pending business confirmation; logged in BUILD_RECORD.txt.
